Outstanding Effluent Management Actions Produce a report that establishes and clearly defines the outstanding works and measures to ensure sustainable effluent management at the premises by 30 December 2018. This report must provide a timeline including key milestones for implementation of works and measures to ensure that all effluent generated at the premises is reused in a manner that delivers sustainable hydraulic and nutrient loads to all effluent reuse areas. To be clear, if the strategy is to depend on effluent reuse, the treatment of effluent must be sufficient to enable the sustainable use of effluent on the land that will be available and used for that purpose in 2018 and beyond. The report must demonstrate how all effluent generated will be used in accordance with the Environmental Guidelines Use of Effluent by Irrigation, (the Guideline). The report is to include, but not be limited to: Characterisation of effluent (contaminants/strength); Effluent volume, including daily and annual figures related to abattoir throughput; Details of available/required effluent storage volumes, including wet weather storage capacity; and Delivery timeframes for each effluent management improvement action to ensure the premises achieves effluent management consistent with the Guideline by December 30 2018.  Provide progress updates on development of this report and actions taken to deliver sustainable effluent management, to the EPA. Progress reports should be received by the EPA by 29 April 2016 and 31 August 2016, and the final report by 30 December 2016.
